Happy New Year to one and all. Some big changes are in the offing for 2013. Me, my wife Linda and our Maine Coon kitty Sheba, are hitting the road. We’ve purchased an Airstream trailer to travel hither and yon around this great big USA presenting Play Ukulele By Ear workshops. Our first stop is the Groundhog Ukulele Festival in Yucaipa, California on Wednesday, February 6. From there it’s off to Arizona with stops including Quartzsite, Phoenix and Tucson.
To celebrate the arrival of 2013 and our new adventure, all digital download lessons are on sale for $13. That’s $7 off the regular retail price. Visit the Tools For Learning section in the right hand column for lesson details. Remember, every purchase buys us three gallons of gas!
We are currently booking and mapping out our schedule for 2013 and would love to visit you, your ukulele group or local festival. Drop me an email if you are interested in having the Traveling Airstream Ukulele Caravan visit your area, and all the best in the coming new year!
Hi Jim,
My wife and I travel in an original ’65 Bambi with ukes and other portable instruments. We always meet people on the road who enjoy playing and exploring. If you ever come East, let me know.We live in Baltimore MD.
Wonderful! Congratulations! nice vieo – dramatic coast – it’s almost like being there – I said “almost”! It gives some of the flavour – many thanks!
the opening scene – I can see it on the big screen … I look forward to more …. so atmospheric …
If you are heading north in the summer I think our club in Minnesota would be interested in a D’Ville event. Our local club is “StrumMN” and there is a club in Northern Minnesota called “Two Harbors Ukulele Group”. If we got word out in plenty of time we could probably have a turn out of fifty or more.
On my website I recommend your DVD’s as good tools to invest in. This would be an exciting opportunity.
Good Luck, & Good Listeners to you!
Come to Reno! You can do a workshop & house style concert at Aria School of Music – where I now teach! You may wato to wait until it warms up a bit…
Happy New Year to you and Linda!
Rich
