The music world has lost a multi-genre pioneer with the passing of string wizard Bob Brozman. When I took up the ukulele in 2000 Bob’s ukulele instruction video on Homespun Tapes was my inspiration to take my understanding of the ukulele to the next level. In 2012 I had the good fortune to meet Bob in person at the NAMM show in Anaheim, California where for years he held court at the National Resophonic booth. It was not only a thrill to meet Bob, but he granted me an interview to discuss his new and improved Homespun video project. It’s a sad day when a musician of Bob’s stature leaves this plane of existence. The good news is the body of recorded music and instructional material Bob left behind. Aloha Bob.
