I had a wonderful weekend in Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. The highlight, of course, was my Play Ukulele By Ear workshop event hosted by Stephen H. Lawson and the Music City Ukes held at Lane Music in Brentwood. A full house turned out for an afternoon of fun, food, music, and learning. One of the attendees, Lora, later sent me the following note: “Wow, Jim D’Ville, I’ve always loved to listen to and play music, but you’ve shined a whole new light on what it means to actually hear the truth in music! Chords can actually have a true relationship with their lyrics. I actually understand now. (Lightbulb moment 😁)” Only two more workshops scheduled for 2019. I hope I can see you at one of them!
