I’m halfway through my east coast swing of the Play Ukulele By Ear Workshop Tour and already have collected a bushel-barrel of new new friends and magical musical moments.  

Between the workshops I’ve been to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum, Camden Yards Ballpark (home of the Baltimore Orioles), Civil War Battlefields in Richmond and the battlefield at Yorktown.

But it’s the comments I hear from people after the workshop that are my real reason for going out on the road.  Here are just a few of the comments I received so far:

“The workshop was amazing.  I am a lifelong amateur musician with a degree in music history.  Jim’s framing of playing the uke was brilliant.”
