It’s time again for the best ukulele camp on planet earth, Tunes In The Dunes at Camp Westwind just north of Lincoln City, Oregon. This year the camp will open on Thursday night, September 19 with a public concert and sing-along at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. On Friday morning we board the motorized rafts and cross the Salmon River at high tide, then trek a quarter-mile through the sand to the camp, which lies on an isolated beach peninsula on the central Oregon coast.
The location, fabulous local cuisine and all the happy campers make Tunes In The Dunes an event not to be missed. Instructors this year in addition to myself will include Aaron & Nicole Keim, Craig Chee, Guido Heistek, Suz Doyle, Bryan Holley and The Diggers. I, for one, can’t wait!
