The first ever Melbourne Ukulele Festival starts tomorrow (our time). The crew from Bosko & Honey’s Ukulele Safari got together for a pre-MUF dinner tonight. Pictured left to right are Bosko, Dan the Man, Honey, Gensblue, Yan Yalego, Rose Turtle Ertler and Mr. Jaynickel. I was officially discharged from the Safari (that’s the reason I’m not in the picture) after my ten day stint from Sydney to Melbourne in which I saw Sydney, the Tasman Sea at sunrise, kangaroos and cockatoos in Canbarra, drank wine fresh from the vine in Griffith, swam in a billibong in Wangaratta hiked in the foothills of the Australian Alps and herded Morino sheep in Violet Town. I can’t thank Bosko & Honey enough for inviting me on this wonderful ukulele adventure, and to all the wonderful ukulele folks that took us in along the way. Thanks!
