This week marks the 2nd anniversary of the Play Ukulele By Ear blog. First let me thank everyone that has contributed to the site, from all the folks who have taken the time to participate in my favorite feature, 3 Questions Interview. Also, thanks to all the players who have visited the site and those who have offered their advice and feedback. Thanks also to those who have really promoted the site including Al Wood of Ukulele Hunt and Jeff, The Humble Uker.
The nearly 400 posts over the last two years have been viewed almost 90,000 times by ukulele players from 136 countries, from Fiji to France, Slovenia to South Africa. I’m am truly amazed by these figures. Let me also thank all the ukers that have come out to my workshops, you are the folks that keep me going! And a special thanks to all my friends in Austraila who have welcomed me twice to their wonderful country to teach and play.
I would love to hear from you on what you like (or don’t) about the site, favorite features and what topics you’d like me to cover in the future. I believe that by weaning ourselves from those huge songbooks, we reach an entirely different level in which to play, listen and experience music. I’m having an incredible journey and I thank you for joining me!
