As of November 1 I will be offering private lessons in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I will be teaching out of two music studios. On the west side of town I’ll be available through Music On The Westside in Rio Rancho. On the east side ,I’ll be teaching through the ABQ Institute of Music. Beginning in January I’ll also be offering group lessons at both locations on Saturdays.

Lessons are based on Jim D’Ville’s proven Play Ukulele by Ear method. Students will learn correct right- and left-hand techniques for playing chords, strumming and accompanying oneself singing. Students will also learn basic music theory and song structure.

Beginner Adult 18+
Saturdays 2:00-2:45
Lessons are based on Jim D’Ville’s proven Play Ukulele by Ear method. Students will learn correct right- and left-hand techniques for playing chords, strumming and accompanying oneself singing. Students will also learn basic music theory and song structure.

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Adult 18+
Saturdays 3:00-3:45
Lessons are based on Jim D’Ville’s proven Play Ukulele by Ear method. Students need to be able to play basic chords in the first position and have a basic understanding of the instrument to enroll in this class. Students will learn chord inversions, advanced strumming techniques and beginning finger picking. Students will also learn more advanced music theory and song structure.
