3 Questions Interview: Joel Eckhaus (Earnest Instruments)

As a proud owner of an Earnest Instruments Stradelele Tenor ukulele, it was a real treat to recently visit its place of creation, the shop of master luthier Joel Eckhaus located in South Portland, Maine.  Joel talks about how he got started building and about the many unique instruments in the Earnest line in this 3 Questions Interview.

    Mr. Eckhaus, did you used to play with the Ambassadors in the Portland area back in the late 70’s and early 80’s?

    We used to go to as many of their concerts as we could.
