Welcome To Play Ukulele By Ear!

Posted on: April 23rd, 2012 by dville

Welcome to the new Play Ukulele By Ear website! The site was designed by my wife, graphic artist Linda Grist D’Ville, and implemented by Lisa Gray of Gray’s Web Design. I’m adding new content every week so be sure to bookmark the site and visit often. There are nearly 500 posts in the archives, which are now much easier to locate. In the 3 Questions Interview archive are interviews with the ukulele world’s top players and luthiers, including James Hill, Jim Beloff, Lyle Ritz, Bosko, Del Rey and many others. The 3 Chord Club archive features easy three-chord songs in most musical genres to learn by ear . And, one of the best things you do for your ears is to work your way through the Weekly Interval archive.  For the analytical amongst you, discover the mysteries of the musical universe via the Circle of 5ths by checking The Circle archives.  And if you love to tear apart chord progressions the way I do, you’ll want to check out the archives of Connect The Chords.

Let me thank all you new visitors, and the frequent visitors that have supported my efforts on the web over the last few years.  I love coming up with new ways to make learning the ukulele easy and fun.  If you have any ideas, questions or comments, please drop me a note from the contact page.  I’ll look forward to hearing from you and learning of your progress as you learn to Play Ukulele By Ear!
