Best 3 Questions yet!
Victoria is beyond description. I am a huge Fan..
One of the best interviews I’ve seen, loved it!
Great interview! As a subscriber/supporter in 2012, it was a wonderful interaction with the artist as the songs came out and emails went back and forth.
While Victoria has a certain amount of emerging recognition going on with airplay in certain markets, I find myself wondering why some of her tunes from “Boombox Seance” and “Key” aren’t blasting out of everyone’s car radio everywhere I go, or showing up over opening or closing credits on a bunch of weekly network TV dramas.
Going back to her collegiate “Pink Bicycle Incident” work, through her 200 nights on the road in 2005, through her incredible geniality and generosity at festivals, Victoria has most definitely paid her dues, many times over. I just know that any day now she’s going to explode into the national and international broader music scene.
Many thanks.
UKE ROB GETS IT.
You rock! I remember when you started this project; and I love the song you feature as your favorite. Hope to see you sometime in concert. Have you/will you ever play at Summerfest in Milwaukee? Take care! Jill
Victoria has a wonderful gift for writing songs, singing them, and making others smile. Her clever “mouth harp”- literally coming from just her mouth- no tricks! never ceases to amaze. She can play many instruments (I have seen her play violin, guitar, piano, accordion, and flute) yet seems to love best her UKES! I think they travel well, as does Victoria! She does not compromise on her music to have a better life doing something else and has gained my utmost respect for this.Check out her “Uke can’t touch this” and “Size doesn’t matter” underwear! If the right people knew about her she could please so many more ears!! I have all her CD’s and listen to them for work outs and relaxation!
Hope it happens!!
She has earned our support. Chip in a little moolah to help promote great songs and ukulele playing.
Go to Victoria’s website to contribute towards the making of a music video to help promote her new “Key” CD. http://www.victoriavox.com
Give “Key” wings!
